Notes for the whole operation of the Roots vacuum pump unit and preparation before startup

1、Check whether the water tank level of water flushing pump (front pump) reaches 

     more than 3 / 4 of the water tank, and make up if it is insufficient.

2、Check whether the water used in the water tank is clean, 

    and the sewage containing sediment is not allowed in case of block the pipeline, 

    and the Roots vacuum pump increases the pump impeller wear, 

     increases the motor load and causes failure, 

     which affects the service life of the water flushing pump.

3、Check the height of the lubricating oil in the middle pump and the main pump, 

    reach more than 3 / 4 of the oil window, and check the color of the lubricating 

    oil simultaneously, the Roots vacuum pump has more milky 

    or black impurities and inform the machine maintenance people 

    to repair and replace the lubricating oil.

4、The Roots vacuum pump shall check whether the circulating 

    cooling water channel of the intermediate pump and the main 

    pump is intact, open the inlet and outlet valve of the circulating cooling water, 

     and check whether the circulating cooling water inlet and outlet is normal

5、Check whether the buffer tank drain valve at the bottom of the middle pump is closed 

6、Check whether the circuit of the vacuum pump unit is intact and 

      the instructions of the control cabinet is normal 

7、Check whether the starting pressure of vacuum pump unit electrode contact 

     pressure gauge of intermediate pump and main pump is normal 

     (the starting inlet pressure of intermediate pump is above 0.065Mpa 

     and the starting inlet pressure of main pump is above 0.085Mpa).

8、The vacuum unit can only be started after the above inspection are all ok.
